Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Graduated from Tama Art University, Faculty of Design, Department of Dyeing and Weaving.
After working at Issey Miyake 와이즈 스포츠 토토 Planning Co., Ltd., he moved to England.
Studied concept direction and design consulting from textiles at the Royal College of Art RCA in the UK and obtained an MA. Won the Grand Prix at TEXPRINT 2005, a design competition for newcomers in Europe. Returned to Japan in 20 designer. Established KAJIHARA DESIGN STUDIO Co., Ltd. and worked with companies in various fields such as fashion, interior, and architecture, and was involved in 와이즈 스포츠 토토 design and product branding as a creative director. In 2013, he won the Grand Prixat Paris, for the 와이즈 스포츠 토토 he developed with a Korean company. In 2015, he became a JETRO export advisor. Since 2017, he has been the chief judge of the JAPAN 와이즈 스포츠 토토 CONTEST.
